To achieve the goal of reducing energy consumption, a consumption monitoring system was specially designed and built by Acrel for the Shanghai Cadillac House in Pudong, Shanghai. Energy monitoring aims to provide real-time monitoring of power, process water, cold water, hot water, natural gas, compressed air, etc. in the automotive paint shop. Gathered consumption data are comprehensively analyzed according to the production line and process to provide useful information to the Cadillac manufacturing factory, realizing better energy assessment and management. A wide variety of Acrel meters were installed in the energy consumption monitoring system, including 64 vortex flow meters, 9 heat meters, 30 temperature gauges, 14 industrial water meters.
Dual redundancy design provides real-time operations in collecting, transmitting, and managing data. Gathered data will be uploaded to the energy monitoring center for realizing the best energy management in the workshop.
